Grilled Red Bell Peppers & Onions

Slice:
1 c red onions

Then make 1 cut from center to outside so that the onion will bend out when cooking to make long strips.

Preheat oven broiler.
Put:
the 1 c sliced & cut red onions
2 c sliced red bell peppers
(or red & green bell pepper mix)
(can also cut the slices in 1/2)
1/2 t garlic powder
1/2 t onion powder

1/4 t paprika
1/4 t cumin
1 t salt
1/4 c water

in a bowl & stir.

Put:
1 t olive oil
in a 9x13 glass pan & spread out with a paper towel.
Put the mixture in the glass pan.

Broil for 15 min. on middle rack.

Serve
or cool down & refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days
or freeze.
